LeBron James showed the Los Angeles Rams love during the team’s home debut on Sunday. The NBA star brought his sons along with him as he mingled with Rams owner Stan Kroenke on the field. Many dubbed LeBron as the “newest Rams fan” after seeing him on the field.
It was just a few months ago that LeBron James and his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, were in the spotlight at the 2016 NBA Championship finale. The Cavaliers beat out the Golden State Warriors in a game that was action-packed from start to finish.
“We were able to do something that’s never been done,” LeBron said of his team’s incredible comeback from winning one game out of four in the series. Many thought the Cavaliers were finished but the Cleveland team regained stamina during the fifth round that carried them through the end of game seven.
“We had a five-hour flight back to Cleveland in front of our fans, and they were there waiting at the airport,” LeBron shared. “No one slept. We were so high off adrenaline and emotions and everything. I wish I could get it back. I wish I had a GoPro attached to my head throughout everything where I could have captured it all. But the memories are still here for sure.”
The Cleveland Cavaliers’ win over the Golden State Warriors was the first time that the Midwest team brought home an NBA championship. LeBron James is the proud father of three kids.
