Welcome to the Curry’s home. Ayesha and Stephen Curry welcome fans inside their humble abode in the recent issue of C-Home magazine.
Ayesha is quite the designer as she and Lainey Hollis of Williams-Sonoma Homes have created a spectacular sight. Every room of the Curry’s residence is meticulously coordinated to represent something unique. Ayesha and Lainey give one area a bit of contrast by grouping a James leather lounger with hand-knotted rugs. The family’s breakfast nook is anything but ordinary as a custom-made brass drum pendant is placed alongside the vineyard dining table.
The Currys were definitely aiming for a home that was fashionable and filled with comfort. “I wanted cool but functional,” Ayesha shares. “I worked very closely with Lainey, sending her ideas and working with mood boards she created, to achieve that look, which also expresses an elegant, welcoming homeyness.”
Although the home in the East Bay Hills does not have a basketball court, there are five bedrooms and four fireplaces to choose from along with a wine cellar that can hold up to 2,300 bottles. “We spend a lot of time in the kitchen entertaining family and friends,” Ayesha says. “My favorite room in our house is the breakfast nook because it’s framed by a wall of cherished family photos.”
Ayesha and Stephen Curry are the proud parents of two kids.
