He doesn’t change diapers but he is a supportive, loving father. Eddie Murphy makes confessions about fatherhood during a recent interview with Extra TV.
“She’s doing wonderfully,” Eddie says of his and girlfriend Paige Butcher’s newborn daughter, Izzy. The actor became a father again in May. “She started sleeping through the night,” Eddie gushes.
Although he adores his daughter to no end, Murphy confesses that changing diapers is not his thing. “I don’t change diapers,” he admits. “I would be horrible at it and that’s not fair to the child,” Murphy adds.
While some struggle with the idea of blended families, the Murphy clan is not facing many challenges in the field of mingling and loving one another. “Everybody’s really cool with each other and it’s all love all the way around everybody gets along that’s a good thing,” Eddie shares. “It’s a love fest at the house.”
Izzy is Eddie Murphy and Paige Butcher’s first child together. Eddie is the proud father of nine kids.
