Congratulations to Tatyana Ali and Dr. Vaughn Rasberry who tied the matrimonial knot this past weekend. The celebrity couple had an intimate ceremony at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills that included 120 family members and close friends. Tatyana was every bit excited to begin a new chapter with her husband.
“I’m just excited,” the actress told media before the ceremony. “All of our family is coming into town!”
Tatyana and Vaughn have a lot to be excited about as they are newlyweds expecting their first child. “We have chosen to keep the sex of our child a surprise,” Tatyana told media in May. “The only person who knows is our doctor.”
The actress further explained why she and her husband decided to keep the baby’s sex a secret. “If we knew the sex, we might decide things about our baby’s future that we have no right to decide — that our little boy will love athletics like his father, or our little girl should be sent to dance school like I was when I was young. We may unwittingly predetermine a course for our child that is ridiculous or just plain wrong.”
Tatyana Ali and Dr. Vaughn Rasberry are expecting their first child to arrive in coming weeks.
