Work it girl! Angela Simmons was one of many celebrities to attend Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation’s 2016 Art For Life Benefit on Saturday. The event was held at Fairview Farms in Bridgehampton, New York, and Angela was looking fabulous.
The expectant star wore a beautiful black gown that was made of satin. Angela added a bit of sparkle to her outfit with a navy blue coat that bore sequence.
This year’s Art for Life event was hosted by ‘Black-ish’ star Anthony Anderson and featured music by DJ M.O.S. & DJ KISS. The ceremony honored several influential executives including Frank Cooper III of Buzzfeed and Debra L. Lee, Chairman and CEO of BET Networks.
The Simmons family is quite the charitable bunch. Russell Simmons, founder of Art For Life, expressed his desire to do more for the community during an interview with ORIGIN magazine. “I try to use my voice,” he shared. “I try to keep a positive intention, and use whatever resources I have to benefit others. I try to create businesses that I think are not hurtful. I try to do things that I think are helpful to the environment, to the animals, and to the planet.”
Russell will soon see the family expand when his niece, Angela, gives birth to her first child. Angela Simmons’ little one is expected to arrive in coming weeks. Scroll through more pictures of the expectant star at the 2016 Art For Life Benefit below!
