Madonna is impacting Africa with Mercy and David by her side. The Pop singer recently shared pictures of her and the kids during their trip to Malawi.
“Happiness is Contagious in the Warm Heart of Africa,” Madonna wrote on Instagram. The celebrity mom also uploaded a picture of her daughter, Mercy, smiling with her arms stretched out.

Madonna and the kids are working hand-in-hand with the Malawian government to bring more healthcare options to citizens. The recording artist shared her newest project with Instagram fans and invited them to participate. “Join Mercy, David and myself at the New Pediatric Surgery Hospital in Blantyre adjacent to Queen Elizabeth hospital,” Madonna wrote. “First of all help us think of a name for the hospital and Secondly. Would you like to sponsor a nurse or a clinical officer?? If so check out our website @raisingmalawi.”
This isn’t the first time that Madonna has positively impacted Malawi. The Pop singer advocated for education in 2014. “Education is the future,” Madonna said during her meeting with President Peter Mutharika. “The biggest gift I can give you is education.”
Madonna adopted Mercy and David out of Malawi several years ago. The singer has four kids in all.
