Ready, set, watch! Shaquille O’Neal has given the green light for his and the kids’ reality show, according to TMZ.
The media outlet reports,
“It’s been a work in progress for years. Our sources say Shaq was initially a little chilly on the idea — but things have changed, and we’re told the NBA legend has officially given his blessing for the VH1 show.”
The series will feature all four of Shaq’s kids along with the star athlete’s ex-wife, Shaunie O’Neal. The theme of the show will, of course, be family but with an interesting twist.
Shaunie and Shaq will put their co-parenting skills to work while guiding their kids in the right direction. The children have big dreams and it is up to Shaunie and Shaq to help nurture those aspirations. Shareef, who has great potential as a basketball player, will be featured on the show as well as 13-year-old Shaqir who celebrated his birthday in style while the cameras were rolling.
Shaquille O’Neal has two sons, Shaqir and Shareef, and two daughters, Amirah and Me’arah, with ex-wife Shaunie O’Neal. Both Shaunie and Shaq have kids from previous relations. The O’Neals’ reality series is expected to make its television debut in coming months.
