Ming and Aoki Simmons are following in their mom Kimora Lee Simmons’ footsteps into the fashion world. The sisters, who are sixteen and thirteen respectively, are featured in the latest lookbook for their model-designer mom’s KLS Resort 2017 collection. According to WWD, KLS’ new collection embodies a ‘playful spirit’, thanks in part to Ming and Aoki:
This season, [Kimora] evolved the tastefully body-hugging dresses and sensual tailoring — two consistent themes of the label — to include looser silhouettes, takes on blue and white striped men’s shirting and festive decoration, including tribal and insect (think bees and bugs) embroideries.
Infusing the lineup with a crisp, casual elements gave it a younger, more playful spirit, embodied by the designer’s 13- and 16-year-old daughters Aoki and Ming Lee Simmons.
