Have you seen her? Finding Dory hits theaters with a splash and many fans are ecstatic about the latest installment in the Finding Nemo franchise.
Dory (voice of Ellen DeGeneres) is the forgetful blue tang fish who lives with good friends Marlin (voice of Albert Brooks) and Nemo (voice of Hayden Rolence) under the sea. Everything is going fine until, out of nowhere, a portion of Dory’s memory returns and reflects on the family that she was separated from many years ago. The blue tang fish becomes worried that her parents may be searching for her and sets out to find them with her trusted pals by her side.
The road to finding her family is quite challenging since Dory experiences memory loss every few seconds. Nevertheless, the blue tang fish and her friends manage to travel across the ocean to the Marine Life Institute in California. The center is designed for rehabilitation and houses some of the most interesting creatures of the sea. Dory enlists the help of an octopus named Hank (voice of Ed O’Neill) who is known to give employees the slip. She also seeks help from a nearsighted whale shark named Destiny (voice of Kaitlin Olson) and Bailey (voice of Ty Burrell), a whale in crisis. Together, Dory and the crew navigate through the institute and discover that their flaws propel them to greatness.
Andrew Stanton serves as director of this film that has everything to do with family and friendship. Lindsey Collins produced the summer hit. Finding Dory is now showing in theaters nationwide.
