The latest trailer for the upcoming film KICKS is intense. The movie, starring Christopher Wallace Jr., centers around a teenager who is determined to right a wrong.
Fifteen-year-old Brandon is neither popular nor cool in his neighborhood in the Bay area. Although some would be trying to improve their social status, Brandon doesn’t mind being a bit of a nerd so long as he has his friends and fantasy of being an astronaut. Everything changes, though, when the teen is beat up by a gang on the East side of Northern California who take his expensive KICKS right off his feet.
Determined to get his shoes back and earned respect, Brandon takes his friends on a whirlwind that includes hunting down the gang’s leader and learning how to use a gun. “Can’t be a man if I let another take mine,” the youngster says. “This time, they crossed the line.”
