T.I. is enjoying every bit of fatherhood. The rapper recently gushed over his and wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris’ newborn daughter, Heiress, during a conversation with media.
“[She is] an enormous blessing,” T.I. told the press. “She’s a sweetheart. She’s beautiful.”
Tiny told media that she and T.I. were in a different place before welcoming their third child. “With all the other kids, he was there and involved and there with me. But this one is a little different,” Tameka shared with Rolling Out just weeks before giving birth. “I guess because we’re both more mature and he’s not afraid to go all out the box and do things like singing to the baby and reading to the baby.”
T.I. certainly hasn’t objected to being photographed while in daddy mode. The rapper was captured while feeding the baby and talking to her during a trip out in town a few weeks back.
Much of being a father, T.I. has learned, is contingent on being present. “Just be there,” he said during one interview. “Take time out and plan to listen to the things that are going on in their lives,” he added. “I just try to look at it like, when I was young and going through some of the things that may be trivial to me now, I had somebody to actually give me the game and navigate me through it, even if it was unimportant to them.”
Heiress is T.I. and Tiny’s third child but the seventh kid to join the Harris clan. She was born on March 26, 2016.
