Riley Curry steals the show! The oldest daughter of Ayesha and Stephen Curry captured the attention of media at her father’s MVP award’s ceremony.
Stephen was in the middle of his acceptance speech when little Riley made her way into the venue. The toddler was headed to sit with mom and other family members when she decided to greet her audience. Riley made gestures that told fans that she saw them and even Stephen had to chuckle a bit at his daughter’s personality.
Curry was the first basketball player to receive the MVP award by a landslide. The board unanimously voted to bestow the honor on the star athlete whose hard work on the court has led his team to many victories.
“To have this and have that special attachment to be the first unanimous MVP award winner, it’s definitely special,” Curry said. He went on to brag on his teammates who work just as hard. “You guys inspire me to keep getting better, so we can get the most out of every single night,” Curry shared. “This trophy wouldn’t be sitting here without you guys, so let’s keep it going.”
Riley is certainly keeping things going as the rising star of the family. The youngster put her touch Ayesha and Stephen’s kitchen tour on ‘Rachel’ a few weeks ago. Although Ayesha did much of the talking, Riley helped her mom show audience members around the gourmet lover’s dream. “I put fruit in these cups,” the little one shared while holding up plastic containers.
