Here’s Luna! Chrissy Teigen shared the first candid of her daughter on Tuesday. The celebrity mom rubbed her daughter tenderly as the cameraman took the picture. The family dog was also present and able to get in the shot. In another shot shared by dad John Legend, Luna can be seen looking directly at the camera.
Chrissy and husband John Legend welcomed their daughter on Thursday, April 14, 2016. “She’s here,” Chrissy wrote on Sunday. “Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you!”
The television personality announced her expectancy last year after sharing her fertility struggles with FABLife viewers. Chrissy was mentored by a number of celebrity moms during her expectancy who included Kim Kardashian-West. “Kim gave me advice from even before we started,” Chrissy told press at the Grammys. “She’s been here the entire time, the entire process!”
John also did a number of things to prepare for baby Luna’s arrival, which included writing a song or two about fatherhood. “There’s definitely songs that I’ve written about being a new father and thinking about what that means,” he told fans just weeks before Chrissy gave birth. “I think she’ll probably be a mix of us, and I think that’ll be a good thing.”
Luna is Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s first child.
