Mommies aren’t meant to be sexy, according to Riley who places clothing over his mom, Jourdan Dunn, every time he believes too much skin is showing.
“He’s quite a little charmer,” Jourdan says of her son. “He knows the right things to say. But whenever my boobs are out, he definitely covers them. He says, ‘Mummy, why are you being sexy?’ I remember he once said, ‘Mummies are not supposed to be sexy.'”
Dunn and her son are presently spreading the word about their children’s line that is meant to offer kids more options in the way of designer wear. “I wasn’t really a girlie girl growing up,” Jourdan says of her unisex line. “I liked the best of both worlds, because I had two younger brothers. I still enjoy wearing men’s oversized T-shirts or sneakers. That’s why the collection is unisex – for girls who don’t want to wear pink, look girlie or dress like a princess.”
Riley also inspired a few pieces in the line. “When I went shopping for Riley, either stuff was too babyish or there wasn’t anything cool. When you go into a shop, there’s a huge selection for girls, then a little corner at the back for the boys,” the model says.
Little Riley is Jourdan Dunn’s only son. He celebrated his sixth birthday in December.
