Leah Still can officially let her hair down. The 5-year-old was recently recorded while riding in the back seat of dad Devon Still’s car and she had the opportunity to do something that she hasn’t been able to do in two years, which was let the wind blow through her hair.
“‘Dad, unlock my window so my hair can blow in the wind,'” Devon wrote on Instagram. “The littlest things,” he added. “Wind blowing so hard in her face, look like she can’t even breathe.”
It was just two years ago that Leah was unable to let the wind blow through her hair. The little one lost her mane due to chemotherapy treatments for stage four cancer. “It was definitely a long road traveled,” Devon said of the experience. “We definitely feel blessed and thankful that we have the doctors and the people around us to help us through this battle.”
Leah also commented on her victory over cancer by telling media that she remained exuberant through the battle “because my daddy made me [strong].”
