The weekend was one of celebration for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend who threw a baby shower for their unborn child. The celebrity couple had a royal theme that was exhibited through decorations and refreshments.
Chrissy wore a white crown that bore the phrase, “Baby Mama” on it. The head gear matched the model’s outfit, which was also white.
In addition to wearing items that represented royalty, John and Chrissy gave attendees sweets that reflected the theme. The crown-shaped cookies really drove the point home as they were coupled with pastries designed in the form of onesies.
Chrissy and John are expecting a girl to arrive in coming weeks. Teigen has been quite busy promoting her cookbook, Cravings. Her most recent signing took place in New York City.
“I’ve never seen a book signing with an open bar of all my drink recipes, frito pies and chicken satays and virtual reality and a tunnel where your entire Instagram life flashes before your eyes,” Chrissy told Instagram fans after the event. “It was insane,” she added. Teigen went on to tell fans that she was “hiding for a little bit to properly incubate and give this little thing (the baby) a break.”
This will be John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s first child.
