All eyes were on Kobe Bryant during NBA All-star weekend as it was his last time playing for the West side in the game. The star athlete took time out to create lasting memories and interact with fellow player’s kids.
Kobe planted a kiss on one of his daughters during the weekend-long competition in Toronto. The Los Angeles Lakers player also took a few pictures on the court with his family and played a bit of ball with Chris Paul’s son during intermission.
Few basketball players have a record like Kobe Bryant. The NBA star has played for the same franchise since entering the league nearly two decades ago, and has managed to compete for Team USA during the Olympic Games. In addition, Bryant has led his team to three consecutive championships and landed a number of lucrative contracts with big brands such as Nike.
This past weekend was certainly sweet for Kobe as he played in the All-Star game for the last time. It was really special,” he shared with media. Kobe contributed ten points to the the West’s winning score of 196-173 over the East. He went on to tell press that his impending retirement “hasn’t hit home yet. I’m not going through this and thinking, ‘Oh, it’s coming to an end.’ I’m enjoying it moment by moment. And it feels d**** good to be able to experience it.”
Kobe Bryant announced his decision to retire from the NBA last year. He and wife Vanessa have two daughters, Natalia and Gianna, together.
