“Kiyan for president!” The son of La La and Carmelo Anthony accompanied his parents to the White House a few days ago where he met the First Lady and her dogs.
Mrs. Obama let Kiyan interact with the first dogs and shared the benefits of pet ownership with La La. “FLOTUS @michelleobama convincing me to get Kiyan a dog. AMAZING UNFORGETTABLE DAY,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. She also shared a picture of Kiyan and the first lady taking a picture together. “Luckiest boy in the world,” La La captioned.
The Anthonys were one of several families to stop by the White House on Monday in celebration of Black History Month. There was a full slate of events that included dance sessions. Debbie Allen was at the forefront of the courses, which sought to teach individuals the essentials of African dance. The celebrity told fans, “It’s #BlackHistoryMonth, and we’re celebrating today with a workshop on dance bringing African American dance icons to the @WhiteHouse to help teach young, female dance students from across Washington, D.C. Start dancing with them here in the State Dining Room where they’re practicing African dance.”
Kiyan is La La and Carmelo Anthony’s only child. He will celebrate his ninth birthday next month. See more pictures from the youngster’s White House visit below!
