Danny Ware is trying to find the strength to carry on after his 3-year-old son, Danny Jr., was killed in a car accident on Friday. The toddler was run over by a truck while playing outside with his brother and cousin in Texas, and the former NFL star has been heartbroken ever since.
“My life has been a roller coaster in every [sense] of the word,” Danny wrote on Facebook a few days ago. “I’ve lost my youngest son to a truck that didn’t see him, I can’t imagine what it felt like and would trade myself any day to have my son Danny Josiah back with his brother, sister and family. Danny I love I’m so thankful I got to talk to you today b4 the accident happened and we both got to say we loved eachother. Anybody that know me and know how much I love my kids please pretty please pray for my family as I’m at a breaking point and need all the help from God/family/friends we can get.”
Ware attempted to have his son’s body moved from Houston to Atlanta but was blocked by the courts after the child’s mother, Liberty, filed for a restraining order. “Plaintiff and her son recently came to Houston, Texas, to get away from a negative and unhealthy situation in Georgia with the estranged husband, Danny Ware,” legal documents read.
Danny and Liberty have set up a GoFundMe account to assist with funeral expenses. You can learn more and donate here.
