Oftentimes resolutions pertaining to fitness that are made during the new year are not kept due to burnout. While every effort is given to remain faithful to nutrition and exercise, life has a way of getting in the way of our health and wellness goals. Paul Wall knows all too well about the struggle to be healthy, which is why he and the family have embarked on the journey to be fit together. The rapper gives his fans a few rules, known as the Wall House Swap-Out Rules, on exercise that are meant to motivate.
Rule #1: Ditch the junk food
“Try a salad with every meal, too. You’ll enjoy more flavor and taste in your meals with less sodium and calories.”
Rule #2: Get active
“Swap television before or after dinner for a 10-minute walk around the block. Join a dance fitness class and get your body moving. Have fun burning those calories.”
Rule #3: Take on a positive perspective
“Swap television before or after dinner for a 10-minute walk around the block. Join a dance fitness class and get your body moving. Have fun burning those calories.”
Paul Wall says:
“Remember that baby steps are still steps, so stay focused on moving forward. Remember that your commitment to better health and wellness not only results in a healthier, sexier you; you also break a cycle of bad habits that could lead to health issues in the future for your children, family and anyone who knows you. Lead by example to break the cycle of unhealthy habits for your future and the futures of those you care about in your life.”
