It was a mother-daughter weekend for Christina Milian and Violet as the two spent a day at Farmer’s Market on Sunday. Violet let her mom take a few sips from her snow cone as she held the cup steady. “The Best of Me,” shared Milian along with a picture of her daughter on Instagram.
Violet was rocking her new hairdo, which has caused a bit of debate among social media fans. Some criticized Christina for allowing her daughter to have a style that appeared to be damaging to her natural hair. Milian, however, told fans that her daughter’s new do is not negatively affecting her natural tresses.
“Her hair isn’t in the twists,” said the celebrity mom. “It’s another method used where they are tied into her corn rows. The hair isn’t heavy. If you’ve ever grabbed a bag of afri braiding hair you know they are very light weight. But just trying new things. Violet likes it and it’s not damaging.”
