Kim Kardashian-West is once again on track to giving birth to a healthy baby boy after suffering a pregnancy scare a few weeks ago. The reality star tells fans that her little one is no longer breech after a painful procedure that included a lot of twisting and turning.
“This weekend, I checked into the hospital and underwent a procedure called an external cephalic version (ECV), which is done to manually turn the baby from a breech position to a head-down position,” the star shares. “They don’t give you any pain medication, and let me tell you: This was soooooo painful. Probably more painful than childbirth,” Kim adds. However, “it worked!!!”
Mrs. West told blog readers that her son was breech a few weeks ago. The reality star expressed much concern over the overall health of her child and the possibility of having complications during labor.
Now, after undergoing the ECV procedure, the star is ready to get back to preparing for a healthy delivery. “It feels so good to not have the stress of thinking I need a C-section,” says West.
Kim and husband Kanye West expect their son to arrive near the end of this month. This will be the couple’s second child.
