Iman Shumpert and Teyana Taylor are getting married. The NBA star proposed to his girlfriend, who is pregnant, during her baby shower this past weekend. Teyana showed off her engagement ring after accepting Iman’s proposal.
“Before your love baby I was muddy So deep with pain till you took it from me,” captioned Taylor underneath a picture of her wearing the ruby ring. She went on to write, “Thank You @imanshumpertfor putting the color back in my life! I love you so much & thank you@monicabrown for those beautiful lyrics. You spoke to my soul girl.”
Teyana and Iman announced their expectancy in September. Taylor later told fans that she felt the physical affects of pregnancy. “My body is changing every minute of the day,” said the star. “I feel it all … I embrace it all … I love what is to come of it.”
Iman Shumpert and Teyana and Taylor are expecting a girl to arrive in January. This will be their first child together.
