Life as a mother and career woman is really shaping up for Zoe Saldana. The actress tells Latina that she makes everything work by spreading things thin.
“You come home, you spend time with your family, you stay a little extra after the dinner has been eaten,” shares the star. “It’s very important, because by the time you go back to work, it doesn’t feel like work. There’s a separation between being physically tired and being fatigued overall. I don’t like being fatigued. But when my mind is tired, I’m not.”
It was just a few weeks ago that Saldana told media that her sons, Bowie and Cy, are teething and feisty. “These boys are like gladiators,” said the star. “They beat the crap out of each other. I’m like, ‘Chill, man—what is going on?”
Still, even with their aggressiveness, Bowie and Cy make it hard for Zoe to go to work. “It’s more difficult because the more attached we have all become to each other, Marco and I and the boys,” shares Saldana. “They don’t want to see you go and they really make it difficult for you.”
Bowie and Cy will celebrate their first birthdays on November 27, 2015.
