Laiyah Brown is starting early. The little one accompanied her mom, Monica Brown, to the studio earlier this week and engaged in a bit of recording time.
“What a night,” said Monica after the session. The singer uploaded a picture of her and Laiyah posing. “This smile is because she asked for her own mic, a black one (her exact words) and I agreed,” added Brown. “Whatever you dream you can achieve… The key is believing.. Long before IG Mommy walked carpets, shut down arenas & walked in Paris with Karl and many other things that keep my heart filled with gratefulness daily because my Mom instilled in me that anything was possible if I believed & worked hard… What some said was impossible God made possible… So I remind my children and yours BELIEVE.”
Laiyah was also videotaped while singing with her mom during the session. “I’ve recorded several of my albums with one of my children in my arms… Romelō always drifted to sleep and would pull himself close to my chest, Rocko would gaze into my eyes…. Laiyah sings back, adlibs loudly.”
Monica is the proud mother of three kids. Laiyah is the singer’s only child with husband Shannon Brown.
