Miami Heat Assistant Coach Juwan Howard and his wife Jenine Howard held Juice Foundation’s fifth annual ‘Fashion for a Cause’ event this past weekend. Numerous Miami Heat players came out to support the nonprofit that seeks to enrich the lives of those affected by cancer.
Miami Heat players( and their kids) and oncology patients from the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center served as models for this year’s kids fashion show held at Miami Design District’s Moore Building. In addition to the fashion segment, there were a number of health booths and games for the kids to enjoy.
Ray Allen, Alonzo Mourning, and Mario Chalmers were three of many Miami Heat players to stop by the fashion show with their family. Also in attendance were Amar’e Stoudemire’s wife Alexis Stoudemire and kids; and Derrick Rose’s ex-girlfriend Mieka Reese and their son P.J.
Proceeds from the event benefited the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and the Howard’s Juice Foundation.
