Lamar Odom’s kids are hopeful and full of gratitude. The former NBA player’s sons and daughter released a statement earlier this week thanking fans for their support during this challenging time.
“Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad. We are here with our family and friends,” said the kids in a statement. “We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers.”
Destiny, Lamar’s daughter, also took to Twitter saying, “Please don’t leave us … Soon I’ll be by your side and I’ll never let go. I love you daddy.” Liza Morales, the children’s mother, also wrote, “We need you, don’t leave us.”
Lamar Odom was admitted to a hospital in Nevada after being discovered unconscious in a legal brothel on Tuesday. The hospital where Odom is being treated has released few details concerning the star’s condition but close friends say that he has suffered brain damage and is currently receiving dialysis for kidney failure. Khloe Kardashian, Odom’s estranged wife, is currently making decisions on behalf of the former NBA player in light of his unconscious state.
Lamar Odom has three kids.
