As a basketball wife who travels the world with her husband and kids, Adrienne Bosh must be prepared to pick up and go at the drop of a hat. While her and the family’s home is in Miami, Florida, Adrienne tells media that there are a number of things that she does to make the hotels that she, Chris and the kids reside in during their trips more comfortable.
“The very first thing I set aside when I’m getting ready for a trip is my favorite framed photos of my husband and three precious Bosh babies,” shares Mrs. Bosh with Haute Living. She also advises readers to do the same in addition to making the temporary living quarters smell like home.
“Scent is the strongest sense tied to memory,” shares Adrienne. “Calm your nerves at day’s end with a scented candle that reminds you of home. Lemon is a nice and light summer scent which carries calming and clarifying properties that can help sooth weary travelers who feel angry, anxious or run down. I also love Lavender to quite the mind.”
Bringing your own toiletries to hotels is also a remedy that Adrienne believes “personalize[s] your temporary space.” Mrs. Bosh suggests flowers as well. “Nothing adds instant life to a room like a bouquet of your favorite fresh flowers from the local Farmer’s Market (I love peonies, roses, or lilies).”
Adrienne and Chris Bosh have a daughter, Dylan, and son named Jackson, together. Chris also has a daughter named Trinity from a previous relationship.
