Zendaya Coleman stepped out in red high heels and torn jeans to reveal the Adigirl collection by Adidas on Wednesday. The launching was held in New York City and featured Miss Coleman in all of her style.
The K.C. Undercover star went the way of casual by wearing denim with a red tank top. The young adult did give onlookers a taste of her formal fashion sense by showcasing high heels that were colorful and befitting for summer.
Zendaya has been making the most of her time since graduating from high school a few weeks ago. The star’s latest trip was one to South Africa where she advocated for HIV testing at an UNAIDS event. Coleman partnered with Ndaba and Kweku Mandela, grandsons of Nelson Mandela, who also stressed the importance of testing.
“Like my grandfather used to say, ‘It always seems impossible until it’s done.’ We are the generation that will end the AIDS epidemic,” said Ndaba. Zendaya shared in such optimism by telling attendees, “Someone said to us, ‘It’s all about loving yourself.’ I hope to use my voice to get that message out.”
AIDS is the leading cause of death among adolescents in Africa. UNAIDS seeks to lower the numbers by spreading awareness about the virus. See more pictures from Zendaya’s visit to the “Motherland” below.
