It was a marvelous weekend for Nathaniel Joiner, a.k.a. Xzibit, and his son, Gatlyn, who enjoyed the ‘Marvel Universe LIVE!’ show at the Forum in Inglewood and the Avengers 2 film at the theater. The rapper and his son posed with Spider-Man and Thor while on the red carpet at the Forum, and expressed much excitement in seeing the Avengers on the big screen.
“Dad and son day,” exclaimed Xzibit on Instagram. “Marvel everything today! First we are in the forum for Marvel Live and then Avengers movie up next! #familyfirst.”
Nathaniel has certainly been the all-around family man as of late. “My little man, Gatlyn A. Joiner his personality is beyond anything I have EVER seen in any child,” shared the doting dad with social media fans last month. Joiner went on to tell fans that his son “is reading at a 4-5th grade level, comprehending language and conversations about that level as well and he’s 4 years old. He has a bright future ahead of him.”
Xzibit added, “I’m so proud that he and @trecapdlx are my sons. Being a father and a husband is not ‘something you do.’ It’s a lifelong lifestyle.”
Nathaniel Joiner is the father of three sons. The rapper’s son Xavier, born in 2008, passed away nine days after his May 15th birth due to complications related to premature delivery.
