Leon Robinson and Cynthia Bailey are prime examples of what mature parenting looks like. Not only do the two successfully co-parent their daughter, Noelle, but they are also considerate of one another’s personal needs. Leon talks about such thoughtfulness when discussing his decision to support Cynthia by appearing on ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta.’
“I couldn’t see any way around it,” says Leon to BET. He adds, “I thought about not doing it. But it was very important for me that everyone knows that I’m raising my daughter. And if I hadn’t [appeared on the show], it would appear as though I wasn’t. I couldn’t have that. Noelle is my heart, she’s my one and only and it’s fine, it all works out. From what I gather people love that I’m on Housewives, they love the relationship, so that’s great. As long as it benefits Cynthia and my daughter, I’m all for it.”
Fans can see Leon starring alongside Chris Spencer in I Really Hate My Ex, which is available on DVD. “I liked the story,” says Leon of his decision to participate. “I’m very much into relationships and conversations about them. This movie deals with women who are tired of men being very evasive and not telling the truth about why they left them. But, when a man’s back is against the wall and they have to tell these women everything, the women often don’t want to hear it. Sometimes men aren’t being evasive because they’re sneaky, they are being evasive because they don’t want to hurt the woman’s feelings.”
Noelle is Leon Robinson and Cynthia Bailey’s only child together. She will celebrate her sixteenth birthday this year.
