Angelina Jolie and her kids were one of many families to have the spotlight at the 2015 Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday. Shiloh and Zahara cheered loudly for their mom as Angelina accepted the award for Favorite Villain in Maleficent.
Zahara held both arms high in celebration as her mom rose from her seat to accept the honor. The little one did not let Jolie take the stage without joining Shiloh in giving her a big hug.
Upon accepting her award, Angelina delivered a memorable speech that celebrated differences that individuals may share. “When I was little, like Maleficent, I was told that I was different. And I felt out of place — too loud, too full of fire, never good at sitting still, never good at fitting in,” said the star. “And, then one day I realized something, something that I hope you all realize: Different is good.”
Angelina Jolie and husband Brad Pitt parent six kids together. The actress is set to star in Kung Fu Panda 3, which will make its debut in theaters next year.
