Chris Rock does not want his kids to keep up with the Kardashians. The comedian recently told media that his daughters, Lola and Zahra, watching Kim and her sisters on their reality show is a habit that he is trying to break.
“My kids are watching reality TV now,” shared the star. “My kids are obsessed with Dance Moms, and also the Kardashians. But I’m trying to stop them from doing too much of that.”
Rock further expressed his desire to keep Lola and Zahra from watching the Kardashians saying, “Reality TV in general is just pretty nuts, and watching what these people go through…”
Although he is no fan of the genre, Chris portrays a fictional reality star in his film, Top Five. The movie is centered around Andre Allen (Rock) who is a comedian that wants to be taken seriously in Hollywood. In an effort to gain the respect of his colleagues, Andre and his fiancee (Gabrielle Union) decide to invite cameras in to broadcast their upcoming wedding. Of course, Andre’s plan turns out to be more than he anticipated as the cameras capture both positive and negative aspects of courtship.
Chris Rock’s film has already made its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival. The comedian’s movie is expected to hit the American market in coming months. Chris and wife Malaak parent two kids together.
