Raif Kedrick enjoyed one amazing summer. The son of Rhonda Ross has done everything from performing onstage with mom to participating in his uncle Evan’s wedding these past few months.
First, the little one made an appearance on Broadway with Rhonda. The youngster stood onstage and interacted with the crowd as mom belted out the notes to her songs during the Birdland concert series. “I primarily consider myself a story-teller and poet. I use my music to inspire and to uplift…to teach people – including myself,” said Rhonda of her music. It appeared at one point that the story the singer was telling was becoming too much for Raif to handle as the little one placed his hands over his ears while in the spotlight. Perhaps the music was a bit too loud for him.
In addition to supporting mom on Broadway, Raif helped his uncle Evan tie the knot with Ashlee Simpson this summer. The loving couple wed on Sunday at Diana Ross’ Greenwich, Connecticut estate, and Raif served as a member of the bridal party. Diana officiated the ceremony and later performed ‘Endless Love’ for the happy couple. “I want only love, happiness, [and] joy for my son and his bride,” said the singer.
Raif is Rhonda’s only son with husband Rodney Kendrick. The couple wed over 15 years ago.
