Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are officially in the stormy months of their marriage. The ‘America’s Got Talent’ host recently told media that he and his wife are indeed living apart.
“There is trouble in paradise,” said Nick exclusively to The Insider With Yahoo! on Thursday. “We have been living in separate houses for a few months.”
Speculation of Nick and Mariah’s separation began to grow after the couple stopped posting pictures of themselves together with the kids. Although the actor and Pop singer came together on Father’s Day, it was apparent that all was not well in the Cannon household.
Even though he and Mariah have hit a rough patch, Nick keeps his kids as his number one priority. “My main focus is my kids,” said the star to Yahoo!. Mariah also expressed concern for her children by way of her publicist who told media, “Mariah is focusing on her children and her upcoming tour.”
Nick and Mariah have two kids, Monroe and Moroccan, together.
