Trevor Jackson and Diggy Simmons have recently set out on a country-wide tour together which will include performances, meet and greets, and radio appearances.
The promotional tour, Who Else But Us?, is essentially a chance for the country to get up close and personal with the next generation of major hip hop stars. To their credit though, they certainly have already made their presence in the hip hop community well known.
Diggy, son of the legendary ‘Rev Run’ Simmons, obviously has the stuff of stars coursing through his veins. His debut album, Unexpected Arrival, was very well received, and Diggy himself seemed very pleased with the final product. The 19-year-old has said, “I wanted to make music that was relatable, that helped people that had an impact on society and culture.” Today, Diggy is basking in the success of his newest single, “My Girl,” (featuring Trevor Jackson) while he works on album no. 2.
And then there is Trevor Jackson. With his 18th birthday just around the corner, the young celeb has come a long way from the Disney Channel. He has spent the last couple of years concentrating on his music career, building a credible name within the world of r&b. After the release of his first single last year, “Like We Grown”, Trevor began experiencing a high demand for his music. The #NewThang EP was a major success and Trevor is currently prepping his debut album.
