Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz spent their fourth anniversary celebrating the gift of life. In a photoshoot posted on instagram, the happy couple announced that they are excitedly expecting their second child.
Alicia posted: “Happy Anniversary to the love of my life @therealswizzz !! And to make it even sweeter we’ve been blessed with another angel on the way!! You make me happier than I have ever known! Here’s to many many more years of the best parts of life!”
Swizz seems just as enthusiastic. His message reads: “Love is life & life is love and we’re so excited for another GIFT from up above Happy Anniversary my Goddess 4 years of greatness & cheers to 100 plus more inshallah”.
It’s no surprise that Alicia is glowing for a second time. Back in 2012, she spoke about her positive experience with motherhood. “Being a parent has made me more open, more connected to myself, more happy and more creative”. She added, “What’s been surprisingly easy is just how natural parenthood feels. I feel great about how easily I’ve fallen into the role. I love it!”
Meanwhile, Swizz told Page Six back in 2011 that being a father is “the best thing ever.” He also proudly declared that Egypt’s first word had been “baba”, which means father in multiple languages.
The couple’s first child, Egypt, was born in 2010 just three months after they walked down the aisle. This will be baby no. 5 for Swizz.
