Aurora Perrineau is finding her way in film. The daughter of Harold Perrineau recently secured a spot in the upcoming Sci-Fi drama Equals.
Aurora will portray Iris, who gives birth to a screaming child. Although a baby who cries upon making entry into the world is good in our age, it is not a pleasant sign to those who live in the Utopian society in which Equals is set. In this world, greed and other forms of emotion are far removed from citizens. Individuals who experience such feelings are said to be ill with Switched On Syndrome (SOS), and are immediately sent to The Den.
Perrineau’s newborn is at risk of being sent away as Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart’s characters fall madly in love with one another. Silas, portrayed by Hoult, comes down with SOS just before meeting Nia (Kristen Stewart) who has found a way to suppress her emotions and fit in with society. The two fall in love but must keep their passion under wraps if they want to escape the punishment of The Den.
Aurora joins several other cast members as supporting actors in the story that presents the world in all of its emotionless perfection. Harold Perrineau has three kids with wife Brittany.
