Cordell Broadus is beginning to settle in his college search. The up-and-coming athlete recently told media that he favors Oregon State but would prefer a scholarship offer from the University of Oregon instead.
“I have fifteen offers right now and it’s going pretty good,” said the young athlete. “I like Oregon State because they throw the ball a lot. But I also want to get an offer from [the University of] Oregon. I’m highly interested in that school, but I’m waiting patiently,” explained Broadus.
Cordell told media that he is hoping to attend a school that matches his personality and allows him to thrive. “I’m not going to a school based on coaches because the coaches can get up and leave whenever they want to. I want to go somewhere that I can fit in and become the best player I can be on and off the field.” Although he is becoming popular in the high school football arena, Broadus is reminded of his father’s advice to “stay humble.”
Cordell is the son of rapper Snoop Dogg. He has a brother named Corde and sister named Cori.
