On choosing red carpet looks
I never send her pictures. We get everything together on the rack and show it to her in the fitting. It’s so amazing because she always goes for my favorite look and I’m like, ‘Really?! You have to be kidding me.’ It’s been that way since the beginning.
On trends
Whenever we talk about style, we’re like, ‘We’re going to do whatever we want! We don’t care about trends!’ You might see her in some of-the-moment styles, but it’s because that just happened to be what she was drawn to.
On Material Girl campaign
It was amazing. The people were so cool to work with, and it was great to vibe out on Coney Island. It was an awesome day, and Zendaya looked so good in everything!
The thing about Material Girl is that they pick the face of the brand based on who she is, so when we got to the shoot, it was all about her putting on the clothes and just being her! Now that’s the sort of campaign we can get behind.”
