Sebastian is the apple of his mother’s eye so much so that she refuses to pursue her dream of being a recording artist while he is still young. Amber Rose recently sat down with VladTV to talk about her goals as a singer and how her duties as a mom have put such aspirations on hold.
“I actually have so many songs that are done, that I just never put out,” said Rose. “I feel like I got engaged and then I got pregnant, and then it was like, both [Wiz and I] can’t be doing the music thing.”
Why not? “I’m not comfortable with anyone else raising my son besides me or my husband,” explains the star. “So I feel like if I was to really take the music thing seriously, I would be gone a lot, and my husband’s gone a lot, and the fact that Sebastian’s still very little, he shouldn’t be out traveling. He should be home. He should be comfortable and he should be home.”
Amber and husband Wiz Khalifa welcomed little Sebastian Thomaz into the world on February 21, 2013. The little one was born just days after Amber hit the red carpet while pregnant at the Grammy Awards, and has joined dad in the studio on several occasions since then.
