Nicole Kidman recently revealed that given the ultimatum, she would choose her husband and family over her career without hesitation.
“I wouldn’t even bat an eyelid,” she said. “The most important things to me are the love of our relationship and my children. At this stage of my life, and with time being so precious, the joy I get from us as a family outweighs any joy in any other area of my life, by far.”
The mother of four has been married to musician Keith Urban since 2006, with whom she has two biological daughters; but she also has two children who were adopted with her first husband, Tom Cruise. After the couple split, Isabella and Connor decided to live with their father in Los Angeles, and although this means she doesn’t see them very often, Nicole speaks very highly of them. Connor, 19, is an aspiring DJ, and his sister Bella, 21, is an aspiring artist.“They are generous, kind and hardworking,” the actress told Women’s Weekly magazine.
Nicole, who splits her time between homes in Australia and Nashville, has admitted that she would love for her two eldest children to live with her, but respects their decision to stay in L.A.
