Ava is the most recent graduate of the family. The teen received words of encouragement from her mom, who told her to reach for the highest heights in life. “May you learn that disappointment comes only to teach us, it is not who we are when life is pleasant but rather who we are when it is really really difficult that defines who our soul is, may you remember happiness is in direct proportion to the love you give so lead from the heart always, your love is infinite, happy graduation baby,” wrote Rachel Roy.
The famous designer has told media on various occasions that her daughters are her inspiration to do more with her career. “There was a time when I was living a life that I did not want to live. I knew better because I wanted better,” said Roy during an interview with Huffington Post. “Having my girls inspired and made ME into the woman I was meant to be. Knowing that I was responsible for my daughters’ future gave me the strength that I needed to make a change. Overcoming obstacles showed me how strong a person I actually was.”
