Did anyone catch Chris Paul II in his latest State Farm commercial? The little one starred alongside dad, Chris Paul, in the most recent “Born to Assist” ad.
Twins Chris and Cliff challenge their sons, Lil Chris and Lil Cliff, to take what they’ve learned about the Assist to the streets. Whereas Lil Chris uses his knowledge of the concept on the basketball court, Lil Cliff takes the Assist to the community and helps his friends get insured through State Farm. Chris and Cliff are headed down the escalator with their sons at the end of the commercial when the two brothers spot Golden State ‘Warriors’ player Stephen Curry and his twin brother heading up the stairs. Could the Assist be moving on to another family? Maybe so, maybe no.
State Farm’s Assistant VP of Marketing says that the aim of the “Born to Assist” campaign is to stress the company’s goal of serving generations. “[The ad campaign] continues to convey State Farm’s commitment to service from one generation to the next, and to provide the best value in the business,” says Tim Van Hoof.
