Nature reigned supreme for Monica and the kids, as the R&B star enjoyed a cozy day with her little ones this past Easter Sunday. Monica wore leggings with a sweatshirt that matched her sons’ outfits, which were also black. The R&B singer was happy to be comfortable telling Instagram fans that she was “Dope and Comfy.”
Monica has been in celebration mode these past few weeks. The singer welcomed her husband home after a long trip and celebrated her eldest son Rodney Jr.’s venture into Middle School all within a few days time. “Rocko was super excited to receive not just a package but a crate from his new school LOL,” wrote Monica next to the picture of Rodney opening a big blue package. “It was marked with his name & Unleash the Dragon.. This is gonna be a fun year full of great experiences!! #WhatsInTheEggRocko @rockohill I’m proud of you son #MiddleSchool WOW.”
Rodney and his brother Romelo are Monica’s children with ex-boyfriend Rodney Hill Sr. Monica and husband Shannon Brown have a daughter named Laiyah together.
