The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in the Bryant family. NBA star Kobe Bryant recently revealed that his daughter Gianna loves to compete and win, just like him.
Bryant told the New Yorker of a time when he was playing ‘Candy Land’ with his then 3-year-old and saw an opportunity to win the game. “You know it’s my move,” said the star. “She obviously can see that I can win, so she’ll know that I’m not-winning on purpose. Then what’s that teaching? So I just play the game, I win—and the kid goes ape s***. She knocked the board over. Baaaaa! I was like, ‘S*** the kid’s like me.'”
Since beginning his career nearly two decades ago, Kobe Bryant has helped the Los Angeles ‘Lakers’ win six championships and has been deemed the team’s most valuable player. The NBA star has also played on the All Star team and been the recipient of two gold medals from the Olympic games. How’s that for winning?
Kobe and wife Vanessa Bryant have two kids together.
