Friendship is the driving force that keeps Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons going. Russell stopped by the ‘Bethenny’ show to talk about his newest book, Success Through Stillness, and couldn’t help but gush about Kimora and how much of a great mother she is to their kids.
“We’ve always been [friends],” said Simmons. “I mean even when we were divorcing it was like ‘You want this? I don’t know.’ We were good friends always. She is a good mother too,” added the entrepreneur. “It can’t get better. My kids go to a school for gifted kids and they are well behaved. They are awake and conscious and she’s the reason. She’s an amazing mother and I go and meditate with them every morning and take them to school, they’re just pretty and they’re an inspiration for my life obviously and she’s made them for me.”
Although he and Kimora are good friends, Russell does plan to wed again someday. “Yeah absolutely,” explained the star to Bethenny. “I’m going to get married again. Yeah, I’m stupid I still think I’m young.”
Russell and Kimora have two daughters, Ming and Aoki, together. The couple announced their divorce in 2006 after more than five years of marriage.
