The fight goes on for Alexsandra Wright who recently had child support payments for her son slashed from $12,000 per month to $2, 485. A California judge granted Matthew Knowles’ wish of paying less in support of little Nixon earlier this week after learning that the producer only made $127,000 last year.
Matthew explained to the courts that the days of him banking $3 million a year as a manager and producer have become far and few since being fired by his daughter, Beyonce, in 2011. The judge gave Knowles a serious break after learning that his expenses total $51,000 a month despite his dwindling income.
Alexsandra Wright told ‘Inside Edition’ last month that she is disappointed in Matthew’s decision to not have a relationship with his son. “I’m not angry, I’m disappointed,” said Wright. “He raised two other children and was very active and involved in their lives and they turned out very well. So why he’s choosing not to acknowledge his only son, I don’t know.” In spite of, Alexsandra vowed to keep fighting for her son explaining to Jim Moret, “I’m going to stand up, and I’m going to fight tomorrow, and I’m going to fight the next day.”
Nixon is Alexsandra and Matthew’s only child together. He was born on February 4, 2010.
