Will Cordell Broadus be the next great athlete to play for the University of Washington? Maybe so, maybe no. The high school football player and son of Snoop Dogg was recently cornered and asked about his college options while walking through LAX.
“I’m keeping my options open,” said Cordell when questioned by TMZ about the possibility of playing for Washington. The teen assured the media source that he was looking for a school that will suit him well in both sports and academics. “If it’s a good look for me, education-wise and football-wise, then I might,” said the high school star.
It was just a few weeks ago that Naijiel Hale, son of the late rapper Nate Dogg, committed to the University of Washington. The teen was happy to accept head coach Chris Peterson’s offer telling media, “He offered me as soon as he got there. Boise State was my first offer when Coach Petersen was there so I know the staff really well. I know Coach Lake, the DB coach as well and had a good home visit with him and Coach Petersen recently.”
We’ll just have to wait and see if Cordell decides to play for Washington as well.
