Kim Fields is in the stars after giving birth to her and husband Christopher Morgan’s second child. The actress recently sat down with Cocoa Fab to talk about her life as a mom of two boys, telling media that baby Quincy and Sebastian are the best.
“Sebastian is just a wonderful little boy and loves to help and has the heart of a servant and the spirit of the Lord in him,” said Kim. “Even baby Quincy in my belly, he was so good and let mommy do what she needed to do. That was great.”
The actress further gushed about her newborn saying, “He is so great. He’s about two weeks old. Everything that we prayed for when both of our children were in the womb just came to fruition. Every day we prayed over them and over Quincy for their spirits, their health, well-being and development. Sometimes I think when people are pregnant, they forget to be specific in some of their prayers. We were specific in saying Lord, we pray over his temperament, that he would be calm, that he would have peace. Of course a baby is going to cry, we’re not foolish, but it’s one thing to cry because you’re trying to communicate. However, it’s another thing when a baby just cries to be disruptive or just because. He’s very easy going. He giggles and smiles in his sleep all of the time. He just laughs.”
Fields also talked about Sebastian’s maturity level explaining to Cocoa Fab, “He understands that the addition of Quincy doesn’t mean there is any subtraction of Sebastian. There’s no competition. We prayed over their relationship early on as well. Sebastian has been great with being a helper and understanding his feelings and dealing with those. He understands and can communicate his feelings when there are small times he feels we can work through that.”
Kim and Christopher welcomed Quincy Xavier Morgan into the world on December 3, 2013. He was born six months after big brother Sebastian’s sixth birthday.
